World's Oldest Giant Panda Turns 38, Celebrates Birthday

A birthday party was held on Sunday (Aug 16 2020) for the world's oldest captive giant panda named Xin Xing, who turned 38 this year. Xin Xing celebrates her 38th birthday at a zoo in south-west China's Chongqing Municipality. She was served with birthday cake covered by her favourite foods, such as bamboo shoots, carrots and watermelon. More than 100 peoples were present at the birthday party while Mario Gutierrez, a panda fan from the United States, said he had seen Xin Xing before, but this is his first time celebrating her birthday. He wants Xin Xing to live another 30 years.
